Who We Are

RiseONRx (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Canadian telehealth platform that facilitates connections between patients and licensed healthcare providers for physician-supervised weight management programs.

Information We Collect

Waitlist (pre-launch): First name, email address, province, referral source, and consent record. We do not collect health information on the waitlist.

Full platform (post-launch): Personal information (name, email, phone, address, date of birth), health information (medical history, medications, assessment responses), government-issued ID (for identity verification), and payment information (processed by Helcim — we never store card data).

• To process payments for services and medications
• To communicate about your care
• To comply with legal and regulatory requirements

How We Protect Your Information

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Sensitive health information is additionally encrypted at the application level using AWS Key Management Service (KMS). All data is stored in Canada (AWS ca-central-1, Montreal).

Who We Share With

• Your assigned physician (for clinical care)
• Partner pharmacy (for prescription fulfillment, with your consent)
• Payment processor (Helcim — tokenized data only)
• We do NOT sell or share your information for marketing or advertising

Data Retention

Medical records: 10 years from last contact (per CPSO requirements). Government ID images: deleted within 90 days of verification. Waitlist data: deleted 2 years after last contact or upon unsubscribe request.

Your Rights

Under PIPEDA and PHIPA, you have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent (with consequences explained)
• File a complaint with the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario (ipc.on.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca)

We use essential cookies for site functionality. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) are only loaded after you provide explicit consent via our cookie banner. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
